Few questions about mod choices :D

Hey! I am reinstalling every mod I had  ( Thank you Mod Organizer for making it so easy and decided to ask about some things since I had some issues. 

 

 

1. Should I use SOS or SAM for my SL mods? I play female so it is mainly for NPCs and before I had SOS but my main concern ( and it probably touches also third question) is that during animations cock often was positioned badly and what i mean is textures overlapped and egz. it pushed into my character nose not mouth during blowjob or instead of going into vagina sank into edge of body texture and tip was visible sticking from lower part of my character. Also in some animations it did not even reach vagina

 

2.  Should I use CBBE HDT CBBE TBBP or some kind of UNP Body? I used CBBE Curvy HDT but one thing that was not working was my character breast bounce and it was present in some of other NPCs - I am not sure if in every because I only checked it on two I am concerned that with for example TBBP it is written that I should not use HDT physics extension with it but it is also required for other mods if I remember correctly.

 

3. Working vagina. Which I should use and with what type of body. I installed one but it wasn't working just opened the mod with mod organizer.

 

4. What HDT plugins should I have installed for most SL mods?

Edit: One more question  - 5. If I want to have best one and make sure that it is not conflicting with my mods should I use SkyRe (Skyrim Redone) or STEP or sth else?

I use CBBE with BodySlide, because you can build imitations of almost any body in it (it has inbuilt slider sets for most of the popular ones like UNP, Sevenbase, a couple of others) and almost everything is compatible. It's ridiculously easy to find textures and such set up for CBBE. Plus, it's easy to get HDT working too.

 

I still use the SOS body for males, but that's because I'm too lazy to get SAM working. I do like SAM's level of customization though. 

 

TBBP has been superseded by HDT. I'm sure HDT presets exist that would replicate TBBP's level of bounce. 

 

Sticking with STEP guides is usually your best bet, but do double-check with the SL mods you want to use. Also, keep in mind that SL is itself rather script-heavy, and adding it to a game with other script-heavy mods increases the load on your PC. I based my SL build off of my SFW stable build, but I removed a number of mods that I knew actively conflicted with SL or were just a bit too heavy on scripts, and I toned down some of my visual overhauls as well. Though, if you have a high-end PC you probably won't have as much trouble.

 

Also, it goes without saying - use Mod Organiser, use LOOT, read the instructions thoroughly, accept and make your peace when mods conflict.
