Jacobwoodsons Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 So I tried downloading and installing things like sexlab framework, funnybiz anims, or sexlab defeat first by downloading them to the data folder under Skyrim (which at least got data file to show in mod organizer under data tab with no install option) then by downloading to the mod folder under mod organizer which caused nothing to show in the MO app. Is there a dummy proofed step by step guide put ther?
Guest Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Download the mods from LL. Normal browser download. Then from MO click on the first button top-left, find the mod, and you should be all set.
Jacobwoodsons Posted June 23, 2016 Author Posted June 23, 2016 So far so good. What if a mod (Sexlab Defeat in this case) doesn't show up there but is shown when you go to your computers download folder?
Guest Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 "Does not show up" in the MCM? 1) open the MCM, close, wait a minute, open it again. 2) If it is not working, check the papyrus.log for problems.
Anicae Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 For MO, click on the icon in the upper left corner (CD icon), navigate to your DL folder and choose the mod you want to install, done. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE7DlYarj-DcLS9LyjEqOJwFUQIIQewcK <--- This Playlist explains everything Mod Organizer (helped me a lot when I switched from NMM), SKSE, FNIS and installing mods you download manually. Hope it helps

Sorry, meant that it wouldn't display in the menu when clicking on the icon in the top left corner of MO.

I think he means when you go to manually install the file through MO, its not showing up, but if you look directly in the folder (through window explorer) it does. Jacob, what you want to do is while looking at the file(s) in windows explorer, look at the extension of them. MO doesnt recognize the .tgz extension. Simply right click the file, select rename, and press the "end" key. Now backspace to remove the extension "tgz" and replace it with "rar" or "zip". Go back to MO and it should see the file now.
