Framework/Defeat: failing to strip equipment during sex

(This is not a tech support question. This is a request to the authors of SexLab Framework and/or SexLab Defeat to make certain improvements in the future versions.)

It is grossly illogical that pieces of armor and weaponry are often kept on during sex by default.

I don't know if it's a SexLab Framework bug or a Defeat bug. On the one hand, looting the partner's inventory is only available in Defeat, so it looks like the problem is with Defeat. On the other hand, SexLab MCM has the section "Strip Item Editor" and the problem with unstripped quiver is also present during consensual sex, so it looks like the problem is with SexLab Framework.

I dare say that when people have sex in the real world, they are naked in the large majority of cases. Naked means no footwear, no headgear, no quiver on the back, no sword magnetically attached to the nude body.

Also in Skyrim sex, it should go without saying that by default all equipment ought to be removed for sex, and the user ought to have the choice to keep one or another item unstripped during sex. Too bad that currently the approach is closer to the opposite – the stripping of certain items is unreasonably difficult.

Firstly, it happens quite frequently (maybe 1 case out of 4 or 5?) that when I take everything from a G-assault victim's inventory, they still remain dressed. The inventory is empty but the victim is still wearing armor, boots and such. The only way to get the victim naked is by raping them. Yes, I know, I am actually getting everything from the victim's inventory – the armor, boots and such are simply re-created after looting. This is not about greed, it's about illogicalness of the situation. When I take everything from someone, they should get naked rather than magically acquire new gear which isn't showing in the inventory. It is illogical. Apart from which, the helmet (or hood) is put on immediately after sex in (as it seems) every such case, and it can be stripped only by killing the victim. It doesn't make sense.

Secondly, it is mildly annoying to discover occasionally that a recently acquired item is, for some weird reason, not stripped during sex, and I have to open MCM/SexLab/Strip Item Editor, click on "show full inventory" and set the items' stripping options one by one. (Yes, armor and weapons are usually stripped automatically during sex, but some items are not. I have no idea why.) There is no way to set the stripping behavior for items not currently in the inventory. Neither is it possible to set the stripping behavior by category, or to simply tell SexLab that I always want everything stripped during sex. (Which, as I already said, should naturally be the default behavior.)

Thirdly, arrows (or quivers) are distinguished by their absence in the Strip Item Editor submenu. In other words, there is no way whatsoever to have the equipped arrows stripped during sex. It is infuriating really, to initiate sex and see that stupid quiver on the back of my character's naked body and to realize that I have again forgotten to check the inventory and unequip the arrows. What is worse, there is no way whatsoever to get a consenting partner to take off her quiver for sex! Whoever is wearing a quiver can be gotten naked only by G-assaulting and robbing.

I wish the mod authors would find time to correct this in the next version. Absolutely every piece of equipment, both mine and the partner's, ought to be stripped by default while having sex. The MCM ought to give the user the possibility of choosing to keep items unstripped.
