It's come to a point where all ii can do in-game now is to roam around collect ingredients and increase alchemy.. here's my load order (i know it's a complete mess) I ran loot and it messed up. Alpia Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Did not look on your loadorder I allready hear enough when you said "large number of npcs" its just normal this happens either your memory blocks are to small (install the skse memory patch aka shesons memory patch) monitor your vram and ram usage and see if you hit the max. other then that a lot of npcs around also means a lot of npcs that might get checked by whatever mods = a lot of npcs a lot of scripting work why dont you just try to spawn a npc after another and see what is your max? Â also please specify why you cant run loot

I tried to test out other mods by disabling them (iNeed, frostfall, wet and cold, loot and degradation) . I can now fight a little longer but i still get ctd after sometime. So this most likely is a memory issue, if not, i'll have to redo my load order and see if it solves the problem.  Regarding Loot, ran it through MO,; the first couple of times it works as advertised (press sort plugins, click apply and it redoes the load order). But now, it does not re-order the load order anymore ( i tried randomly arrange my esp just to test the software. Ran loot, it just says everything is fine...)Â

Ran loot, it just says everything is fine...)   if this was a load order issue your game would probably crash at launch  this is either a few mods conflicting with each other or bethesda's crummy engine  probably both  also, just because your gpu is crap doesn't mean the game will crash, it'll just run slower

Ran loot, it just says everything is fine...)  So as you have shesons memory patch ok more isn't needed as more then 768 in the setting conflicts with a setting some use in their enb (just for info if you change the value to more and have the enblocal.ini setting [MEMORY] ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true you crash you can either reduce the scrap heap size again or set the enblocal.ini setting to false as said just for info if you ever crash on startup even tough you sure have all dependencies.  So then just to the next I hope if you use shensons memory patch you also use enb (or enb boost) as this will help you a lot in terms of performance and stability when it comes to a big memory load.  Well I can only repeate myself here monitor your Vram and RAM usage (without enb 3.1gb is the usual limit [RAM] depending on what other processes are running. With enb nothing to worry in terms of RAM as its a 64bit app) Vram if you use a 960 depending on how much vram you have you really should keep an eye on the vram usage a lot of npcs are a lot of load Memory blocks (skse memory patch) you can monitor them with memory blocks log, but if you dont have fights in epic scale the normal setting is fine if you want to test out the limit of the blocks do as said just go to a busy place (most test it on windhelm docks) and spawn npcs besides you until you crash then you know if its the blocks limiting you or not you also dont have to spawn one after another just spawn 5 npcs with the console open the console again if you push arrow up it brings up the last command again spawn and so on.  Nothing more to say besides I think Loot is essential while "seriousbizness" is partially right you may would crash right on the loading screen he obviously forgets that it still can cause issues in terms of what mods have priority and when a mod gets loaded this also affects the performance and dosent allways end in a crash its only a crash if you sort them essentialy wrong.  So you should get your Loot working reinstall it look a tutorial how to regardless if you anyway know how it works it dosent hurt and if it still dosent work you should try the build in "loot" in MO. MO has by itself a sorting function for the loadorder just not as detailed as loot if you are on the plugins tab on the right side of MO you should have a "sort" button right under the plugins tab   maybe my pc can't handle too many mods It dosent mather how many mods you have it mathers what mods you have things that are permanently active like frostfall (checking various conditions every x seconds) are what is considered heavy things like sd+ (as you mentioned it) are not heavy on a normal gameplay they are only active and heavy if they are working if you are not enslaved in this case its pretty much off the scripts only get running when they are triggered for example in sd+ if you die or if activated by another mod like simple slavery or death alternative etc.  So I guess you get the idea you can have a thousend mods that are inactive the problem is first the ones that are active a lot (like frostfall and mods that have to constantly check and apply things every few seconds) and if you have to many mods triggered (activated) at once, but is more unlikley if its not memory related and its a script related problem I can give you a papyrus setting that you can try, but I'd like to first make sure other problems are not the cause so as said -Vram monitoring when you crash -Ram monitoring when you crash and dont use enb (or enb boost) as said you should start using it if you dont do it allready -Testing the limits of your memory block  if this fails you can give papyrus more time to enforce scripting work by this setting  fUpdateBudgetMS=2 (or 1.2 is standart I think) read all if you want to use it. This setting tells the engine how many milliseconds allowed, per frame, that the game may spend executing scripts before moving on to other tasks such as rendering graphics while this setting is save to change you should never mess with the engine if its not essentially needed, but if the other things dont help you can try it I use 8 on this setting. Some knowledge to this your computer has 16 miliseconds to draw the scene to your monitor including animations sounds rendering etc. with this setting you can force the engine to spend more of these precious miliseconds to spend on scripting (so 16 is the max but you obviously cant spend everything on scripting). Be aware that you take away time from other stuff like rendering your graphics, but I think its better to get some lag then to just crash so with increasing this number and giving more time for the scripting you may slow down everything else ending in a lag, but it prevents you from crash that is related to scripting not getting finished. So its a thing to try, but nothing more dont expect wonders, but worth a try if script related   also, just because your gpu is crap doesn't mean the game will crash, it'll just run slower  How about no? a crappy gpu does mean the game will crash its not just like the gpu has a infinite time to get after the calculations it ends up in a freeze it it cant handle the load and what we are actually talkiing about is obviously vram and it simply means, full vram=crash (guaranteed) that is in 101% of all cases a simple fact a full ram the same its a guaranteed crash. Depending if you use enb(boost) or not you dont even need to get the ram full as skyrim still is a 32bit dx9 application without it 3.1gb are allready enough (depending on what system processes are running besides skyirm) ... just saying   [06/14/2016 - 10:48:34PM] [CF][Creature Apply] Failure on ["bandit" [Actor < (2001051D)>]]; creature isn't registered; race=["Nord" [Race <NordRace (00013746)>]] skin=["" [Armor < (00000D64)>]]   am getting this error on papyrus log after i got a ctd trying to take out the bandits in fort greymoor  A single line of papyrus log dosent give any information as the ctd dosent need to be any related to what got logged so there are people think papyrus logs are good to specify the reason for a ctd and people that say its not good both have a point sometimes you may find your cause in the log, but I think its unlikley and ineffective non the less a log is allways appreaciated as any other information (but not a single line)  Also this is not even a error its just a info real "errors" are marked with "error:" kinda clear, but even then it dosent have to be a error that causes any sort of problem if you are intrested as I posted in a other topic allready http://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php?/topic/4129-skyrim-interpreting-papyrus-log-errors/ its not complete, but if you want to understand the usual papyrus messages its more then enough

angel_eyes Posted June 17, 2016 Author Posted June 17, 2016 i have some new developments, fixed the battle ctd thing but now i have another problem (damn, it's the same as coding all over again) ... So, i uninstalled all sexlab mods except amourous adventures and radiant prostitution, and disabled frostfall and Wet n Cold (they were getting annoying anyway, IMO) and also retweak ASIS to spawn less enemies. This seems to fix the battle ctd problem somehow.. But i now have a new problem; my game starts lagging and stuttering after a half an hour or so of gameplay... that lag/stutter would increase bit by bit, especially if i turn around really quick or something until the game is unplayable and then it would eventually crash... If i exit the game and restart it, everything would run fine for, as i said, half and hour or so and then the lag comes again...
bobbypie67890 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 If you have MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner, enable the On-Screen Display and make sure ram, gpu usage, and cpu usage are showing. You could be hitting a memory limit.
