Weird floating?

So, I'm not sure what happened, but for some odd reason, I find my character floating off the floor. I only started noticing it after a long time of not having installed any mods when she was usually shorter than most people, but suddenly, she's taller than most people. I'm reeeeally not sure about how this could've occured. I assumed it was an XPMSE issue, but after having reinstalled it about three times to see no change, it doesn't seem that way. On top of that, I checked HDT High heels, and nothing could've been contributing to it from there either. I wouldn't be too bothered by it if it wasn't so noticable. I have the typical file path to the game folder, the latest version of the game, all the DLC, I'm using NMM, and And the latest version of SKSE with LOOT, and Wrye Bash.

If you unequip your boots, do you stop "levitating"?

 

Because that looks like a high heels related issue. My guess is that either you are using "normal" boots with a custom height setup on high heels MCM or using boots that are for female chars equiped a male char, therefore even they have high heels magnitude they do not display properly

The first case is solved by going into High heels MCM and using the "remove" feature

The second case is as simple as you cant use those boots

I'm using boots for females on a female character, (Also God bless you for helping me a second time!) although at the time I'm writing this, I'm realizing the armor set is TBBP and not HDT. I'm going to install the HDT version and see what happens. Will return with results!

 

Edit: That was PRECISELY the problem. The HDT version came with high heels, which were basically the same height as the boots! Kinda weird though. I didn't think that would happen.
