nuttyboy812 Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 So, I made a custom standalone follower, and I made her a dual wielder, and she won't attack. I set her combat style to be as aggressive as possible, yet she never attacks. She draws her weapons, then just moves about until slain. My other follower has the exact same AI package and aggression level as her, so It can't be that, and I don't think her Class should be interfering either. What do?
RW311 Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Something is broken about dual wield in ai, make them a ranger or 1h warrior and give them two 1h weapons instead and they will dual wield as long as they have no shield.

That didn't work, she still just draws her weapons and then strafes.
RW311 Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 I guess just compare to the working follower you made and see what's different besides the cosmetic stuff, were any custom assets used?

Custom assets are used for cosmetics only, I looked at the working follower, and she matches him except for class and combat style, but that's because he uses a Greatsword instead of dual wielding.
RW311 Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 When you tested your changes did you use a save from before you encountered your npc? If your npc was ever encountered then it would be in the save and any changes outside of facegen data will not have any effect.
nuttyboy812 Posted June 13, 2016 Author Posted June 13, 2016 I did, she still won't fight correctly though. Even taking away the ability to dual wield doesn't fix it, so it must be something else.
