King Olaf Festival wont end.

Not sure why but King Olaf Festival refuses to ends.

 

I tried all the fixes in Tending the flames UESP Wiki to no avail.

 

Viarmo isnt stuck in the burning animation(He goes in the Bards College and sleeps) its just that the NPC are staying there looking retardly at the effigy.

Did you try fast travel?

I fixed it.

 

I had to do this:

 

Open Console and write "coc qasmoke"(This place is disconnected from Skyrim world so nothing to worry about) after you teleport there open console again and write "set timescale to 9000"(30 in-game days will pass in 5 minutes) after that wait 5 minutes(walk away from PC and do something for 5 minutes) then open console again and type "set timescale to 20"(20 is the default timescale)[1 minute = timescale 20] then write "coc whiterun" then teleport yourslef to Solitude and everything will work.

I have had the same issue and think it may be due to the unofficial patch version I am using, which is the latest version available prior to USLEEP. That latest version is no longer supported but I am stuck with it since I do not have the Legendary version of Skyrim. For me the festival will eventually end if I simply go elsewhere and do a few quests. While the festival is going on I cannot get the quest to retrieve Pantea's flute.
