pk842 Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Hi buds. Recently I've been trying to convert a CBBE dress named "Ravana China Dress" to UNP version. Steps following: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1281867-os-tutorial-anything-to-anything-conversion/ Thanks to outfit studio, everything seems working fine when previewed. (See 00.jpg and 01.jpg) However when loaded in game, CTD occurs everytime the moment when the dress is equipped. I know the original version does have some HDT settings and I'm guessing that's the blame though I have totally no idea how to fix it at all... So I'm getting stuck here and can only upload my files here, hoping anybody can help testing or pointing some errors so I can work on. Much appreciated for any help. squart2203 Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 could be due to a missing bone. i'm not sure if this can fix it but try to just copy all bone weights. remember to select all the meshes first before doing that

Seems bones of other shapes are successfully copied so I tried loading in game again but still CTD:S
squart2203 Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 right, the "Body" is the reference shape. sorry i missed that.also, i might have found a solution to your current problem, which is just deleting all the extra bones that came with the outfiteverything below NPC Spine2however!, that also causes the weight paints on that part of the skirt to be lost, along all ALL the HDT effects. even if you hand paint the missing weights you'd end up with a skirt that sticks to your character like pants.i'm afraid i'm not experienced enough to help you further in this regard. you will have to find a way to convert the outfit and still preserve the bones not found in the reference shape, in your case, the bones of the skirt / "pelvic curtains"
