So apparently skyrim believes my loaded save to be a new game

So i just installed a slew of mods

 

Half Dragon race

Non-essential children

RS children overhaul

tales of lycanthropy

Fire and ice overhaul 

lock overhaul

complete alchemy and cooking overhaul (with flora fixes)

 

 

Along with some armors 

 

Skimpy Vampire Royal Army

Roughspun tunic - cleavage bbp

Newmiller succubus outfit

fiora armor

crazy glass robes

kurese gloria sevenbase

nighthawk armor for 7b

parthurnax dragon queen 7b

blacktalonarmror 

 

 

I loaded into the game expecting to be able to load my save to no avail

I would get hit with this message

Presumably my entire load order was "missing"

I load into the save to see it treating me as if this savegame was new, restarting my mods and changing my characters appearance and what not.

Easy. You cannot install more than 254 mods. (including the update.esm and the dlcs.)
