farranya Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I had this problem for months and I thought that it only happen with a certain mod but after I downloaded a manor mod I found out that I cannot add anymore mods to my skyrim No matter what it is when I activate any new .esp files in my nexus mod manager all my mods reset as if they are brand new and some stop working as if I deactivated them but they are checked in the mod manager. What happens is if I download a mod that adds anything like new house or armor and continue I will get the warning that says the save relies on content that is not available. After my save I get the messages saying mods are being initialized for the first time and my characters head is invisible until I use showracemenu and switch to a race and then back to mine but then the head morphs are not right. If I start a new game from the very start the head morphs on y race are still not right and if I save the game and reload it will give the warning again. Someone said something could be happening to load order but I have tried to move my mods and brashpatch0 up and down the list.
deskchairlamnp Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 How many mods do you have ? If you have more then 254, then that's the problem ( you should merge some mods). I had the same thing, merged some mods ( I merged armor mods, got rid of around 80+ esp's) and everything worked normally again.
farranya Posted June 4, 2016 Author Posted June 4, 2016 I feel so stupid now. I unchecked some .esps and it is working. I had 255. Did not know there was a limit for mods. How do I merge if I already have bash patch? Do you make another or delete the old one. I only used it one time long ago.

There are detailed guides on the mod page. I did it for the first time myself today, but its super easy. Just de-select the mods that you merged after the patch is done. No need to delete the old patch i believe, just add new stuff to the new patch.
