lambient1988 Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Hi, so I was editing an armour in NIFSkope and removed a part of that armour. But I later realized that there is no body underneath the torso. So because I removed the part of the armour below the torso I my stomach no longer exists when using that armour, like you can see right through it. I am guessing adding a body or a partial body is the way to go but how do I do this?
Guest Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Open two NIFSkopes, one with the item you want to fix and another that has a full body inside. Then copy the body from one and paste into the other. Then tweak the result until only a single body instance will be in the resulting armor.

Just one question, what about body sizes? What if my body's size isn't the same as my armours size? I can have clipping issues right?
Guest Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 You need to alter the _0 and the _1 nifs to have it work for any possible body weight.
dwjlien Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Hello. I have a similar question, but a touch more technical. When I try to copy a body into an armour like detailed above, I get the following error: Failed to map Parent Link Node| NPC L Pussy 02. Now I think I understand what's happening, My CoS Body has a pussy- which I want to show in my armour(hence me copying it over in the 1st place), but the armour doesn't have a 'pussy slot' In its SceneRoot Base Shape. You can probably tell from my language used I'm not terribly well versed in nifskope, at all. But would such an error be fixable by someone such as myself if provided with step by step instructions? Please! I am guessing adding a body or a partial body is the way to go but how do I do this? Hi Lambient as a fellow noob, I just recently did this so I can take CPU's helpful instructions, n flesh them out for you in a noob palatable way. (BACK UP YOUR BODY AND ARMOR .nif FIRST, Just in Case!) Open Armor_1.nif in nifskope. Click on the body, so its just the body, not the armor. Right Click > Block > Remove Branch (keep nifskope open) Open femalebody_1.nif. Left Click Body > Block> Copy Branch. (keep this nifskope open as well) Go back to your armor_1 nifskope window, top Left Box, click Right Click Scene Root>Block>Paste Branch. Save armour! Now repeat for body_0 and armor_0. Hope this helped, ignore if u were fine, it's just the low level I personally operate at

The default CBBE body mesh I pasted inside the armour is a bit bigger than the armour causing clipping at 3 places. I know CPU suggested that I need to edit these body meshes but I don't know how to do that, can anyone tell me where to do it? Also, I cannot help you with your problem, dwjlien. As you can see, I am a noob myself.
freddark Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Another approach would be to use Outfit Studios to convert the armour to your chosen body and then use Bodyslide to build the desired shape. You would have a body that fits underneath the armour and can do the rest of the editing in Nifscope afterwards. The vagina object (and anything else such as pubic hair mesh, for example) can also be added to you armour by loading it as a reference in OS and duplicating into the armour mesh. Happy modding
