Nyx Morrigan Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Hi,I've gotten back into Skyrim recently and went thru a manual reinstall of all my mods, but I've been getting a CTD mainly when I open anything UI related, whether it be just pressing Tab and opening the selection menu, going straight into the map or straight into the inventoryh, the CTD also happens when opening storage containers too. It doesn't always happen, I can go into my inventory, but the CTD is random offchance.Just as a note, it doesn't happen 100% of the time, I can play hours on end without opening anything UI related, but when I do, it has the possibility to crash. Here's my Papyrus log thing, I think that is what I need?Papyrus.0.zipThanks in advanced for the help. And hope this makes sense, kinda bad at explaining things.
Ashkandii Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Hmm i have the same problem but only in on area, when closing UI in Haven's bag house mod it may crash but anywhere else its fine.. So does this crash occur only in a certain area? if not then what UI Mods you have installed?
Nyx Morrigan Posted May 30, 2016 Author Posted May 30, 2016 It happens anywhere random,y, I've gone longest, a half hour opening and closing my inventory, opening my map etc then out of no where CTD, if I remember right, I have SKYUI, 'cause that's like needed mainly, and I think a mod called Immersive UI where only parts show up they are being adjusted or I hold a certain button.
MistressAriannaValentine Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 curious it might be the immersive clashing with SkyUI i myself even when it says it is required i dont use anything but SkyUI and the mod still works properly most of the time
Nyx Morrigan Posted May 30, 2016 Author Posted May 30, 2016 Hmm, I might try removing Immersive HUD and see if if it's the one 'causing the problem.
Tefajo Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 6mb size papyrus in 30 min playtime? ok, something is not right! First of all: Why install mods manually??? it will always lead to disaster! There are soooo many disadvantages on installing mods manually that i can't even begin with a list of them. My strongest advice is: Delete everything, re install and use Mod Organizer or NMM to manage your mods and load order. - If you are not willing to do the previous step then at least tell us if you have SKSE installed and SKSE.ini properly set (it might just be a memory allocationg issue) - At first glance the only thing i can see in your papyrus that is causing script stress is a CustomRacesControllerQuest (provided by custom races.esp i can only guess since we do not have a mod list or load order)
Ashkandii Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 ^^^^^ Using MO actually solves crashes because its some sort of black magic. Just going to leave bunch of stuff that should very much help your game stabilize just for the case you dont have what i list down and you dont have to search for it. Also: if your not bothering with MO just delete the entire interface folder and reinstall Immerisve HUD and SkyUI you may have left over files. In the Skse.ini [NotPlacebo] GiveFirstBornToSheson=1 [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Display]iTintTextureResolution=2048 [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 Not sure if you need the Firstborn code anymore but i have it in there anyway, Crash Fixes The obvious ENBoost Also recommend disabling all autosave features and use Autosave manager Would also suggest Wyre Bash After using these i only rarely crash when its because of a mod and occasionally i'd have unlimited load screens but using safety load fixed it even though people report it useless now. I'm just leaving this here if for convenience so if you already have all this then good on you
