WindShadow75 Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 I have a piercing that I can't remove. I get a message saying the belt I'm wearing is in the way. The problem is, I'm not wearing any other devices. I have tried the commands RemoveItem and UnequipItem, but the piercing is scripted to prevent them from working. Any ideas? Edit: I found a solution. I used AddItem to give myself a Piercing Removal Tool, clicked on the piercing in my inventory, and selected "Carry On". Somehow, this unequipped the item. I have no idea why this worked.
Gameplayer Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 You might be wearing a belt. See the belt could be glitched itself. IF you have DCL installed use the "Free Me" option. If you don't have that installed... Place all your inventory into a box... ~ Click your Character RemoveAllItems I think that might be the correct command....This should not remove quest items though....So if the belt is marked as a quest item...derp derp I don't know it depends on which belt from which mod.
WindShadow75 Posted May 22, 2016 Author Posted May 22, 2016 Wow, that was a quick response. lol I found a solution... a strange one, but it works. I added it to the first post. It looks like the popup menu you get when removing the item is glitched... or something.
