Dear Sims 3 fans

Nexus offers uploading your mods, images and other stuff you'd like to share (yes, adult content too) on http://www.nexusmods.com/thesims3/?

The good news is that NMM will support Sims 3 as the manager in one of the future releases.

You can also Use Nexus mod manager for installing/uninstalling mods and playing the game directly from the manager. Using NMM manager gives you more stable mod integration and assure you that mods won't be in conflict, and it they were, NMM will provide a help and solution for your problems.

If you are interested in using NMM as your game manager, you can download it here:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/modmanager/?

if you want to know more about using NMM, please visit my NMM thread posted in my signature....

happy Simming :)

I said I quit but I still have Sims installed, I'm almost inclined to give this a whirl just to see how NMM handles this.

Oh, thank you... please let us know how it works... I'm pretty occupied recently and have no time to test it properly. So, your info about Sims 3 and NMM will be golden.... and.. thanks again for giving it try.

Hey Elf, just to let you know how things have progressed. I ran NMM rescan and nothing came up about Sims 3 as a supported game. I still have it installed so I know it's there. Maybe in the next update of NMM?

Thank you for the info... I also tried and NMM doesn't support Sims 3 mod installation and running. Hmmm... I was misinformed... Well, maybe manager will support Sims 3 in ones of future releases.

I'm gonna correct my OP about this..

I'd like to see some of the better TS3 artists that are left shard over to the Nexus after the long spiraling death of TSR to be fair.

I mean the ads at TSR are literally obscene at this point. A few weeks ago it was refusing my downloads because it said I had an adblocker....and the only adblocker there was...was quite literally Chrome itself going "nope, thats way too much scripted bullshit for me to allow".

I've never been one of those "down with the man! pay sites must burn!" kind of people....but TSR has literally abandoned the core of what modding is to monetize it as hard as they can through ad based revenue.

I much prefer the Nexus system which allows open support/donation to the modders you enjoy. Granted I haven't seen an ad on the Nexus since....well since i joined because I've got a lifetime membership...but that aside, as much as some might hate The Nexus....its not anywhere near the depths of hell that The Sims Resource has become at this point.

modslave - I'm also a member of MTS, TS3 and few other very good sites for Sims. They contain much more content than Nexus when it comes to Sims 3. The reason why I'm "forcing" Nexus is because of its manager that will make support for Sims 3 by the time. I love LL.. for me it's the best gaming site on net but I also like Nexus regardless bad experience that some people have. i believe that by the time it will become very powerful site for Simming.

thanks for sharing your opinion.
