Clegane Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 1. Homemaker. CTDs 2. Snap'n'biuld -freezes, can work but freezes very often 3. Waterworks -freezes (All mod authors are told about this and I am mighty sad about that< i'm not using any other house-making mods, nor heavily crafting omes)
Melviclilith Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 You may as well add any mod that changes the interface in anyway.
Spyder Arachnid Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 They work just fine. Haven't had any issues using them with the 1.5.157 patch (I don't use Waterworks though). A bit of a note, use SKI (Settlement Keywords Independent). The new versions of Homemaker and Snap'n Build work just fine with it. Make sure you're actually reading the instructions on how to install them as well. With Settlement Keywords no longer being updated, SKI is the new go to for making building mods compatible with each other. As for interface mods, if you use DEF_UI, it works just fine as well. Other interface mods haven't been updated, but DEF_UI has been. The biggest problem I hear from most people is they haven't bothered to update their mods. They keep using old outdated versions and then complain they don't work with the newest patch. Fallout 4 is still in development, unlike games like Skyrim which are done. So yeah, new patches are going to break mods and modders are going to have to keep updating them constantly to keep up with it. When Fallout 4 is finally done, you won't have to worry about that anymore. But until then, keep a constant eye on updates for your mods and get them when they come out. If a mod hasn't updated for awhile, check for compatibility patches. Otherwise, dump it for something more up to date.
Spyder Arachnid Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 No DEF UI, no any interface mods. Well then I must be some sort of miracle worker, cause I'm using DEF_UI/DEF_INV with Gold Kit and sorting mods with Full Dialogue Interface and having no issues whatsoever. Sounds like an issue on your end then. Should probably move this to Tech Support.
Clegane Posted May 15, 2016 Author Posted May 15, 2016 Another constant CTD with http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8292/? Author is working on it.
