Fallout 4 script extender installation help

When i try to install the fallout 4 script extender (F4SE) it says "cannot find Fallout4,exe" when I run the install application.

 

Am I extracting the files into the wrong folder?

I extracted them to my windows desktop and ran it from there, I'm assuming this is probably wrong?

Which directories/folders to I extract the F4SE files to? It doesn't come with any instructions, unfortunately.

Actually it DOES come with installation instructions. You just need to open the archive and read the F4se_readme.txt

You need to extract all the files into that directory,where is located fallout 4.exe file
