How to load a bodyslide preset?

Yo. Basically, I wanna use a bodyslide preset I saw. From what I understood, this will modify all the female bodies of the npcs. However, I tried to put the .xml file in the preset folder and I selected it in the bodyslife application but it does nothing. I tried clicking "save" and "build" but it had no effect even though it said it modified the files when I clicked on build.

 

Can anyone enlighten me?

"Build" will only build 1 body/cloth from sliderset you select.

Normally if you didn't change sliderset from CBBE to specific armor, bodyslide will just build body mesh which will be seen only when you undress.

The TOP-left dropdownmenu lets you select the Body or Outfit

The dropdownmenu immediately below lets you select the Preset

 

The TOP-middle menu lets you select a Group -- bunch of Body and bunch of Outfit is inside Group

(to get for example "CBBE Body HDT", you need group "CBBE Bodies")

 

Build applies the Preset to the Body/Outfit, which you can also see when you press Preview button (a popup window appears)

In Bodyslide 3 the Preview window also has a slider in it, where you can move Weight 0 <-> 100 to see the middle steps while sliding

 

If you want a collection of Bodyslide armory where you can apply your Presets check this thread - I found quite some gem there:

Do not put any loose files into the subdirectories like /SliderSets /ShapeData /res and so on, that is not recommended.

"Install" such pre-made Bodyslide Armors as mods instead.

 

That pretty much is Bodyslide.

 

Something "else" is OutfitStudio - a tool inside Bodyslide - that is for MAKING armors for Bodyslide (converting armor for this body to armor for a different body), if you just use your Preset on pre-made Bodyslide armors like from the thread above, then you never even need that.

Is there a way to get current presets?  I didn't save my preset, so know I have to build it from scratch for each build.

im using cbbe for body model and HDT PE, HDT breast and butt physic (standard with collision) but it look really horible.. and im download ALSL for body preset but it changes nothing...

I had this problem too, until I only used CBBE HDT, and disabled the BBP and TBBP. Physics were normal after that.
