Horrible Frame Rate issues.

Hey, Everyone.

Been tinkering with Modding Skyrim for about the last two weeks. I've finally gotten all the bugs out of the system, but now something very annoying is happening.

Any time Sexlab initiates, especially if I'm in doors, after it happens my Frame Rate drops so low that the game is just unplayable. We're talking like 10-15 frames a second.

I'm using the non-nexus Mod Organizer, and neither the internal sorting function in that or actual LOOT itself are giving me any error messages.

I've even removed all 4K Mods and have gone only with 2K, which is kind of a bummer, but I'd rather have the game run smooth, but unfortunately that didn't solve the problem.

I even ran Ordenador to speed things up, and still the same issue.

My PC specs are:

GPU: GeForce GTX 970

CPU: Intel Core™ i7-6700k CPU @ 4.00GHz

Memory: 16GB DDR4 SDRAM

So I don't think it's a Hardware issue.

I've attached my latest Papyrus, and pasted a copy of my last FNIS and LOOT order below.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Krommer.

It appears you have Fores New Idles in Skyrim installed. Remember to run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe every time you have installed or de-installed FNIS, or a FNIS based mod.

Fix this problem by just checking the second option in the bottom of the FNIS window.

I don't think this will solve the FPS problem.

Are you using ENB?

Hey, CPU.

Thanks for the FNIS fix. Just did it and the warning is gone. (SO MUCH STUFF TO LEARN :lol: )

Here's the fixed load out:

About ENB, I downloaded it, but hadn't installed it yet, because it wouldn't work with the Mod Organizer and I hadn't taken the time to figure out how to use it yet. I'll give that a shot.

Thanks.

OK, FNIS is good now.

ENB is not something to try. It consumes more graphic power and so you may have less FPS (the opposite you want to achieve.)

I was asking to find a possible culprit.

From your papyrus I only see the usual warnings from Estrus, and the normal spamming from Creature Framework.

Nothing more than this.

Yup. I was actually referring to ENBoost, and not any particular ENB. Not that I knew the difference when I typed that, but I do now.  :shy:

Ya, ENB's or ENBoost most CERTAINLY aren't for those who don't want to put some real effort into figuring out how to set them up.

I'm not actually interested in any of the ENB's yet. Maybe in time. I just want the Graphics Enhancement provided by ENBoost,

I was able to bump the measly graphical usage the standard engine uses up to the below:

[MEMORY]
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=false
DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
ReservedMemorySizeMb=512
VideoMemorySizeMb=10240
EnableCompression=true
AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false

Specifically, getting the Video Memory Size up to 10240 from the tiny 3.1 something it was at.

Now everything runs like BUTTER. :D

As a matter of fact, I'm going to restart the game with all the mods I was chopping away, because it seems like it can handle it now.

Thanks for all your help, CPU! :blush:

You welcome.

But I didn't do too much.
