Devorax Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 So all I'm trying to do is change the hairstyles of a custom NPC. After changing an NPC's hair, I highlight said NPC, hit Ctrl + F4 to export facegen and overwrite stuff in Mod Organizer. I load up Skyrim, and the hairstyle is there, but the NPC's forehead is red. For some NPC's, their forheads are purple, black brown, etc. Why. I read on the Nexus a fix that involved changing the Interpolation value of the UpperEyeSocket.dds file to 0, and that worked - but now the NPC's face is darker than the rest of the body. How do I fix this? And as a side note, I'm not using Apachiiskyhair NPC Overhaul, so the dark face bug isn't coming from there (I think). I'm trying to edit the NPC's from the Naked Dragon mod. But regarding the Apachiiskyhair NPC Overhaul dark face mismatch fixes: will installing those fix the problem despite me not having the Apachiiskyhair NPC Overhaul mod installed?
nyctophilia Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Disable any makeup/face texture mods before you export the facegen data with the CK. Then make sure you're using the correct files for that particular NPC, check their created date to make sure they're the correct ones. If the above is correct, then search for the same files and make sure you don't have any duplicates loading after.
