[Solved] Luxury Collection Light Armor to Clothing

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hai, well, i downloaded the Luxury Collection UUNP HDT Bodyslide mod and well, turns out all the ''Clothing'' from there is all Light armor, and i was wondering if there is a somewhat simple way to change it into proper clothing, i dont have ANY experience in terms of TesEdit (except for cleaing) or CK so i wanted to ask if anyone is willing to point me to how to do it, OR is WILLING to do it for me.

Thanks in advance

Not gonna do it for you, but a couple of advises to do it yourself.

Launch CK, open the mod (by double-right-clicking it)

Go in Items->Armors

Find the armors you want, edit them, and just remove "light armor" from the drop-down.

Save the mod and enjoy.

Pretty much all info i needed xD but a short question if i may, since the mod has pretty much over 50-100 pieces, is it possible to do them all at once ?

Not really.

You can try to write a script inside TES5Edit, but it will not be an easy task.

I have Zero Experience with scripting, heck i opened CK for the first time now, but now im slowly progressing, really thank you a lot CPU

By the way, after im done with changing the slots and armor ratings, what i do after that ? (it will take me prob over 2 hours to do it) but after that how do i save it and use it ? Found out xD

Also what about my perks and stuff i noticed on the right side there is Keywords > ArmorLight does this has an effect on the stuff i wanna do

No, the keyword is not really important.

But if you wanna do it 100% clean, you can remove the key-word.

Well, since im mostly done with the changes (removing armor and changing to clothing) and since its really over 100+ pieces, i remove the keywords an another day, but really again, thank you CPU for the help and info provided

Also, thanks to your advice, i now somewhat understand the clothing basics of mods and now i can change all the stuff that has been bothering me with other mods as well, really, thank you !!!

Also, if you want, you can close/delete this thread :D

Wow. Thanks.

I prefer the thread to be still available (visible) for other people asking for the same question.

And there is no "close thread option", you may just pick one of the posts as "solution".
