Tinala Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 So I like to play the game in first person but it's placing the camera ontop of my characters head. Seemingly no matter what I do I cannot seem to fix or change this issue as I am using the Ningheim race. I've looked everywhere for some kind of first person camera adjust but it does not seem to exist for some reason. Here is an example of my issue:http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/268338411964926441/9D45079DDC0CF082C296D5D678AFAB9B40580778/http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/268338411964927899/F91FCBF7740BC55F662994BE543D0D7C533E72DA/

Thank you, but unfortunately I tried both of those previously. Customizeable Camera only affects third person and Player size mod only changes the player size around with the camera staying on top of my head in first person no matter what size I pick.

WraithSlayer Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 IFPV or EC should place the camera at the correct height. You'll also see your character's body while in 1st-person mode, not sure if that's a bonus or a deal-breaker.

The camera is not at my eye height or even near my face really, still sitting on top of my head. And I do not want to use the Immersive one since I think EC does it a lot better than just having third person animations play in first person combat.
WraithSlayer Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Oh, okay. I have a Ningheim character and use EC, and the 1st-person camera seems to be about eye-level, so I'm not sure what's causing the difference in your game.

Could you show a screenshot comparison against a wall or bookshelf? Also do you have some kind of special first person skeleton?

No special skeleton, I only have XPMSE. I couldn't find a bookshelf that made it look clear enough, so I kidnapped Amren: http://i.imgur.com/WyoC77Y.jpg http://i.imgur.com/tn6Os21.jpg

In the third person screenie your eye height is lower than his, despite this he looks up at you as if you are taller in the first person one. (Cool character by the way.)

The fact he's looking up is probably my screw-up, I froze him with the TAI console command so he'd stay put, but he was probably not on even ground when I did it. Anyway, I tested it with a few walls and other static objects, and I think you're right, there's a slight discrepancy in the cameras, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere near as pronounced as shown in your screenshots, certainly not to the point I'd ever notice it if you hadn't mentioned it. Let me know where's the place you took your screenshots and I'll check how it compares.

However, if I compare my screenshots to yours, using the wall as a frame of reference, your character seems slightly shorter than mine in 3rd-person, yet she looks taller in the 1st-person screenshot. Are you using any sliders like Face Height or similar? These might not be represented accurately in 1st-person.

If only there were a mod that let you set your first person size or camera seperately from the third person one it'd be such an easy fix.
