BacchusLives Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Hi, We just joined this forum, apologies for being Noobs if this is the wrong place to ask. We have been looking into various games like 3dxchat, SecondLife, Chathouse3D, etc. and am a little overwhelmed by the choices and options. We are looking for an environment where we can meet each other, as we live in differernt locations. We want a place where we can do virtual swapping. As many of these games cost, in some cases considerably, we want to cut to the chase and find the right one. Ideally the option would include good enough graphics and customization where we could make our avatars look a bit like us.
allfather123 Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 I can speak for 2 of the 3 you just said, as I was a player in both 3dxchat and Second Life in the old days. 3dxchat has a pretty expensive monthly fee, if you don't mind that. But be aware that Second Life, although it's apparently free, you'll find it expensive on further micro transactions from time to time. I believe I enjoyed 3dxchat a bit more, as the community was a way smaller than Second Life by the time I played. It's community was pretty OK to be fair. There were a lot of nice people to meet and have extensive chats about their lives, music tastes, movies, their culture and political scenery of their country. Lots of intelligente folks and lots of douches as well. Although I'll warn you this: A lot of the people that plays these kind of games are socially awkward in some way. So you'll find a great deal of real life relationships struggles online in that game, as people tend to project their expectations of life to game and take it way more seriously than it should. From time to time, crises tends to explode in it's community. For example: there were LOTS of female avatars online, but only 5 to 10 female players maximum. And a great deal of these "male driven female avatars" impersonate a persona of a real life female, to fulfill their fantasies, to have fun as another gender, or whatever the reasons. And then, from time to time people that find this wrong go to war with those folks for whatever reason also. The updates are not that frequent as we would like, but either way, role playing sex was a bit fun for a while. I would still be playing it till today as a visual social network, but the fee expensiveness gets in the way for me. I made some great friends that I had to leave behind at that time. So between those options you mentioned, I would go to 3dxChat, yeah. Also: The customizations parts were not that satisfying and I don't think it is today. Some other games are better on that point. But graphics, animations quality and such are pretty decent.
Yotix Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 I don't think there's any subforum for porn chat clients so you're asking in the perfect place.Hmm. I did notice that most of the "3d porn game review" websites sound so brainlessly enthusiastic, it's almost as if they were run by people trying to sell subscriptions, probably those spammers at Thrixx. The most important hint would be to use a throw-away email address if you even go looking for chat clients, even more so if you plan to register at any of them. Also, be careful what you put in your public profile: After having publicly answered too many of OKCupid's drug-related questions, I had a very weird date with a girl who was interested only and exclusively in my drug experiences; being paranoid, I noticed some burly guys with bulgeing jackets studying me in the bar mirror ... I think she was a police officer. Thankfully I'd truthfully answered "15 years ago and I hated it" to most of the more interesting questions.Anyway, my point is, many police forces now have whole departments dedicated to "internet scouting" and apparently arresting kids stupid enough to post their weed-smoking pics on Facebook etc. So if you're from an arabic country, maybe use VPN to access a porn chat. There was also this Vice comment, which, having tried out most of the games they're describing, I whole-heartedly agree with:http://www.vice.com/gr/read/how-awful-are-the-free-porn-games-on-the-internet About chat programs: "Yareel" is apparently free to use, only required the Unity Web Player. Its graphics are way worse than what you see in screenshots from AChat or 3DXChat, but I'm just too stingy to start wasting that much money on a chat client (and who would I chat with anyway?)
Yotix Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 PS That kind of gender war happens in MMOs a lot, not just in porn chat clients. Like, in World of Warcraft, I had a Gnome main char ... most of my alts were females. Some other players started hitting on me, then insulted me when I told them I was just an ageing male and not interested in sexting with a random teenage wanker; "OMFG female char you must be gay", to which I usually replied along the lines of "I spend my time looking at a girl's butt wiggle on screen, you're the one staring at a muscular guy" ... ... and just yesterday I looked at AChat and Yareel, didn't create accounts in either but thought like "Hmm if I play a sexy girl, I get to look at a sexy girl having sex ... but that might confuse other chat users." Even the earliest MMOs had like 40% female characters ingame, but 98% male payers (they used the gender of the credit card to try and determine player gender). (It gets even more complicated when I play Sims 3 with KinkyWorld: I want to watch my char strip and stuff, so I make a girl. Then I hate all the guy sims I meet, and like many of the girl sims, so she becomes a Lesbian and I get bored. Or I start playing a guy, seduce most of the girls in a town, then get bored thinking I wanna be a stripper again. I guess I need to make another Futa sim to get the best of both worlds ...)
allfather123 Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 I like to play female characters, although when it comes to immersion gaming, my priority is being male like I am myself. And although I was a male avatar only player in 3dxChat, I never did mind to the idea of sexting with female avatars that I knew were male in real life. I mean, it's role playing, everybody gets to be whatever they want to be, cause it's simply not real. Most of 3dxChat players don't get this idea and tend to involve too much of their own lives in socials interactions of this fantasy preset. And I believe that it's just plain stupid to begin a war towards those who think it's ok role playing gender swaping. Think about it, if we were all true to our nature, would a 98% male avatar game work with 2% of the female ones trying to give all those dudes attention? ofc not. IMO, That's one thing to watch out for in online sex simulator games.
