Guest test1 Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 OK' date=' what is the best female head replacer? I'm trying to make a Nord using the vanilla head and making her look remotely attractive is literally impossible, and it's annoying and frustrating. [/quote'] Download OblivionFaceExchangeLite and one of the female face replacer packs off tesnexus, and then you can replace your character's face with whichever one you like best from the face pack. If you are looking to change all faces, then I like "Natural Faces" and "Smooth Faces."
varano Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Any quest mods involving Alessia Caro? Specificaly her torture chamber?
Guest Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 ^ Never heard of any but that would it would be awesome if there was.
Quixe Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I just got into modding Oblivion and I was wondering if someone can point me in the direction of something like the better bodies mod that was for Morrowind. Something that just akes the base characters a bit prettier.
GMac2021 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Why link the items together? Have them work independently' date=' each linked to a specific NPC. Then you can have one-sided relationships, love triangles, NTR by stealing the item and giving it to someone else (or yourself!), and so on in addition to mutual relationships. I can probably work out the details in a week or two once I'm done with my current project. [/quote'] That sounds great! Also, what you posted was what I meant to say - but I was bit drunk when I posted
Symon Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 For males, you want RobertsV5. For females, you have a huge choice, but the best supported would be HGEC (and it's predecessor Exnem), Roberts or TGND. Unlike Morrowind, you have to load clothing/Armor replacements packs for the body style you are using.

Nonsense667 Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 Wow, it's been a while my fellow oblivionites. I'm finally going back to my favorite game of all time. And I've got a question, I know that there is a mod that does this, but it also removes other affects as well. Is there a mod that removes the "Shell/aura" affects that are on your character if they have an enchantment? I started a game with a cute-elf character, and the blue "shell" around her is a little annoying. Edit: Also, I've heard about an archery mod that really improves bows, and was supposedly inspiration for archery in skyrim, but I've never been able to find it. Help? Is it one of these? http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11415 http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=23484

Help? [/quote'] Not sure about the glow but I think Duke Patricks Combat Archery is the archery mod you're looking for.
Poontank Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Nonsense667, this mod here takes care of the (horrible IMO) glow effect from enchantments once and for all: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1843 It was the first thing I installed when I oriented myself towards mainly using the game for screenshots, the glow effect annoyed me to no end. Note that it only affects enchantments on armor/apparel, weapons still do glow, but the effect on them is also visibly toned down. Unsheating a sword for example, the weapon flashes for a moment and then mildly glows. Negative magic that affects you is also still visible - drains, burden, curses are still giving you a visible aura. There is another mod to take care of the glow on weapons: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4987 Haven't tried it though, for my ends the first mod is sufficient.
dogface Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Is there a mod that replaces the warhammer models with something that actually looks vaguely like a warhammer, instead of a cartoonishly oversized anvil-on-a-stick that blocks a third of your view and would be utterly useless in any fight?
littleman Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=41040 This looks like a replacer for weapons, I need to look into it a bit more. Yah it is a replacer for most material styles like elven daedric and what not, nice look to them all though I will say that.
dogface Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 That looks perfect. I always hated the stupid-looking glass, dwemer, etc. stuff too. Thanks a lot.
Nepro Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 I am looking for this mod where you can pick up signs.
Nonsense667 Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 I am looking for this mod where you can pick up signs. Wow' date=' what mod are you using that adds that sort of loading screen? I've been using toothman's loading screens for forever, but sometimes I get tired of the political commentary ones he threw in there for no reason. But yeah, is that a humorous loading screen mod? And hell, while I'm here, does anyone else have a recommendation for any other sort of humor injector to Oblivion? Be it Loading screens or other.
Nepro Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 @Nonesense You can grab it from here http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13012 though the screen I showed may be the only one that is funny. The rest of them ain't that funny. [spoiler=Screen] I bet you will like this mod. A Very Silly Slaughterfish Mod - http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5135

A Very Silly Slaughterfish Mod - http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5135 Thanks for the recommendation, though what I am actually looking for is things to witness, not do my self. As in posters in-game, loading screens, maybe an npc or two, etc; but not say, a silly outfit/spell/weapon to use. I hope that makes since and that it doesn't sound like I am being demanding or ungrateful.
zcomp Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Is there a mod that replicated this morrowwind mod in oblivion? I know of UV2, etc, but they don't offer player amputations http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5833
Nepro Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Is there a mod that prevent vampires in forts, caves, etc. from attacking you if you're a vampire yourself?

Irishredneck Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 ...Changes all Khajiit, Argonians and Orcs into something more pleasing to the human eye? I mean a new look for ALL NPCs.. Instead of cats, lizards and hog-toothed Orcs.. something a little more sexy?
Nepro Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 @zcomp - many thanks. I mean a new look for ALL NPCs.. Instead of cats, lizards and hog-toothed Orcs.. something a little more sexy? It's gonna be hard to find something like that. I doubt such mod even exist. The best you can do: Ahtata argonian replacer HGEC - Argonians look more like humans http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=20338 Flussys better orcs - changes many female orc ncps into more sexy http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=3727&highlight=flussy For khajiits I don't know. You can download http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8261 and use only khajiit textures from mod. Sample of how they look after textures are applied http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/8261-1-1257757073.jpg
Irishredneck Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Thank you Cygarniczka. I'll try the argonian replacer. I have the orc one, but it only changes a few orcs, and the player's orc (would be perfect if it changed more NPCs.. Flussy's orcs are gorgeous!) Isn't there one of MBP add-ons that changes all of them???
Nepro Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Isn't there one of MBP add-ons that changes all of them??? I am not sure. Grega probably knows the answer. Myself I am looking for mod that changes script icon spell into burden icon. I don't how and when it happened but I have ugly script icon and want old burden icon back. I tried to rebuild bash patch but it does not bring any results - I ticked default icons.
