Depends on my mood, but I usually try to at least have a little bit of RP in my games.

 

Unfortunately I'm not that good at it, and I don't really have any story to tell

I mean the latter. Stories. With nympho monster girls with tig ol' bitties.

 

I do generally come in as something like an Adventurer (the Oblivion custom class), though. I have Grimy Utilities on my Skyrim, but seeing the guy sling his arm to throw a fireball while there's a shield there is just.. realistic. The spells come from all over, too. Most come from Skyrim, now that I think about it, but Arcane Missiles, Cone of Cold, Conjure Daedra Armor... Yeah.

So thinking up backstories for your characters? Sure, I do that. I generally just stick with something simple and add to it as I play.

If you mean role play in chat rooms or forums then yes... but I have to many going at the moment to start any new ones..... so much time they consume.

you know, I was thinking about posting up a thread to gauge the interest of a Pathfinder or 5e game, cause RP is a major thing.

 

Though I dont know if anyone here would be up for a group RP.

 

as for me, I dont do well in one on ones or Play by Post, but in games I always come up with back stories for all of my characters. just helps with immersion.

I only play characters to RP in games. From Skyrim to playing DnD... 

 

I don't play women who wear skimpy armor because it makes no sense. If my character is going to melee and is wearing armor than it full well better protect her properly.

 

Don't get me wrong, I can make some sex craving sluts... but I make it make sense. A child slave grows up being a whore and fully embarrass sex for fun and as a tool. One day from returning to her owner after being pimped out she stumbled upon her owner killing a fellow slave dead. The owner drunk says, "She was a good girl but not making enough money." That moment she realized that was going to happen to her on day,  so she ran away. Bribing guards with her body from city to city escaping her owners she slipped into Skyrim where boarder patrols picked her up and put her in a cart with Ulfrick "I'm a racist" Stormcloak. I'm guessing you can figure out what happens next... Something about Alduin and being Dragonborn!

 

I need backgrounds for me to enjoy games. I can't just play Skyrim or other games, I need to make a persona so actions make sense.
