Hello could anyone please explain this picture to me in English, because i have no idea how to decipher it. It's the boarding game when you..Well try to board another ship. There is meant to be specific counters and attacks to do so you can kill a huge numbers of the enemy's crew. But i have no idea how to read this picture.

It looks like you pick the box that describes what your opponent is doing, and follow an arrow to the thing that you should do in response. The purple arrow is the best response, blue is second best, etc.

 

So if your opponent is using muskets, the best response is to defend. If your opponent attacks, use grenades.

 

That's how it looks to me, at least.
