Skin getting extremely bright in close-up view

Hello. Since my GTX580 died and I currently lack the money to afford a new card, I borrowed my friends PC with a Radeon HD 6900 series card.

 

However, I noticed that the skins of characters ingame brighten up a lot the closer I move the camera to them. Is that related to the graphics card drivers? It never happened on my PC and the only lighting mod I use is ELFX
