Random CTD when pressing Esc.

So yeah, I'm getting random ctd's when pressing escape button to open menu.

 

My hardware is pretty old so I'm wondering what is generally the cause of this. Is it too many scripted mods or vram issue? Anything I can do to remedy this?

 

Otherwise my game is perfectly stable and doesn't crash.

(to remove blood splatter, turns out if you set it to false the game doesn't like it. Well for me it didn't) Anyways my point being have you changed any settings recently? Maybe that is the problem. Also have you made a bashed patch?

I don't use mod organizer, I do mostly manual install because I feel I have more control over everything then and no I did not change any setting.

 

As for bashed patch, It's not needed when running Requiem, The Requiem for the indifferent.esp is a skyproccer patch and also works as bashed patch. Technically I could use a bashed patch with it but shouldnt be necessary with my mod setup.

 

The ctd usually happens when I'm near a city and I just want to save my game so I press Esc and bam im staring at the desktop :/

If you have SKSE you could put this in SKSE.ini
