Solution - how to fix nude textures with weird black patches on it

I wanted to make this clear because it got me really confused.

 

Well it's pretty simple. That means some mod is overwriting the body texture with another one. Truth is, not necessarily lile that.

Firsrtly check this options step by step:

 

1) make sure you have "archive invalidation invalidated" active in FOMM or the .exe

 

2) make sure you don't have a mod overwriting your texture. Yes, pain in the ass.

 

3) check if you see the nude bodies in geck without patches and weird textures. If so, keep reading below.

 

-Solution: you probably have your Fallout.ini marked as "read only". And/or your FOMM or archive invalidation invalidated is reading another .ini in your fallout folder. It has to be set to read "ducuments\my games\fallout nv\fallout.ini (make sure you untick" read only")

 

That should fix any problem with nude textures or any other texture ingame.
