can anyone determine what is causing this issue? i've got all the required mods for this to work, but as you can see it doesn't. help?

Some ideas

- In the main page there are also some fixes, did you try them ?

- Check that the meshes of that mod are not being overwriten

- Do you have the latests HDT PE installed? Are you using a custom set of xlm with it? Try using default ones

- You you have XP32 Skeleton? Check that is not being overwriten by anything

no meshes of said mod are overwritten.

latest hdt shows no change. not sure what xlm is so either it isn't present or its default.

i have xp32 and nothing is overwriting it to my knowledge. as a matter of fact, i just reinstalled xp32 to make sure.

main page fixes use ECE i use Racemenu and they are incompatible. but i've been able to use this hair in the past.

deleting everything related to hdt except for the extension itself still won't let me use this hair.

EDIT: Hold on 1 second. I just noticed in your screenshot that your PC is MALE. BB's Hairstyle is for females so you are getting glitches but you are not wearing the Hairstyles. This might have nothing to do with the mod itself

With fixes i meant the ones in the BB's Hair Physic Project  (Pony Hair XML update), but its just for a particular hair style

The HDT PE xml should be in the SKSE\plugins\ folder, like this:

JMWmNl2.jpg

Usually mods like Breast and Butt Collisions or All in one animated Pussy Overwrites it. May be the one you have has conflicts with that hair mod.

In the DATA tab (right panel) of your Mod Organizer browse to the folder Data\SKSE\Plugins\ and look for the hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml file to see what mod provides it

Also, when you properly install this mod you should see some xml in the folder

.....\Mod Organizer\mods\BB's Hair Physics Project 1.21\meshes\actors\character\character assets\hair\HDT

Make sure that is in place too

If you do not get this mod to work at all. May i suggest you to uninstall it and get KS Hairdos HDT instead?

(BB's hair is only 2-3 hair types compared with the 75 from KS)

actually it has its own version of one of the default hairs for men converted with physics and is supposed to convert an apachii hair that resembles the witcher. those are the only 2 it has for male characters. i have KS installed already. it works fine for females. i've got the hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml but no mod organizer. i use NMM, Wryebash, and TES5edit. can checking be done with one of those?

Ufff, its been a while since i used NMM. If i recall correctly when ever you install a mod that conflics with a previous one it asks you if you want to overwrite it or not, and because you can do that choice it might be hard to tell when there is or there is not something overwriten, since the "installation order" is no guarantee.

No clue if newer NMM made improvements in that department but, my advice, is that you start thinking about using Mod Organizer instead. There are plenty of videos and tutorials out there that explain exactly how it works and it is so worthly, the difference is huge.

I know, you would need to uninstall all you mods to leave "vanilla" Skyrim, then learn how to use MO and then mod Skyrim all over again, but trust me: It would be the best couple of hours invested in your Skyrim!
