Glitched rainbow textures

Every once in a while I get this problem where some textures (fog, steam, clouds, steam, smoke) aren't displayed correctly.

The problem was actually gone for a while for me, so my guess is that it is a driver problem with my graphicscard, I just don't know what could cause this. I have a GTX 650 and had the problem persist before and after updating the driver. Also disabling ENB does not work.

I already tried googling so don't suggest that, there hasn't been anyone with this kind of problem asking for help.

I hope someone could lead me into the right direction.

I have a 660 and my drivers have never caused a problem, More than enough to run Skyrim in any case.
Sounds like a V-sync issue though, Skyrim on ultra settings turns it on by default which in the past has caused my water to flash.
Either that or the shadows being too high is my best guess.

Sorry for the late reply.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Unfortunatly its not because of the ultra settings, neither the shadows beeing set to high.

Is the V-sync enabled through the ultra settings or how can I access them?

I think Skyrim turns it on no matter what your settings are on, And since Bethesda failed to include a simple menu for turning settings like this off you need to alter the Skyrim INI.

Access the SkyrimPrefs.ini and add iPresentInterval=0 to the bottom of the [Display] section.
