Question about deleting my profile

I hope its okay to post this here wasn't sure were else to put it.

 

I have a question for the mods regarding deletion of a profile.  If I were to do this would I be able to then make another one?  The reason I ask is that I'm getting to a point in my life were I'm going to start applying for things were my presence on sites like this could potentially jeopardize my chances of getting accepted.  While I regret doing this I've decided I need to make my activities on sites like this less visible to the world at large.  Thus necessitating me to get rid of this profile and start a more covert one.
