Hey guys new user here and sorry for my english

I just started modding Skyrim a few weeks ago and i want to add a follower in my game and since i'm very bad in making a beautiful one i downloaded Sky Standalone Followers from the nexus(i'm unable to post links but it's easy to find).I'm trying to edit Solis in the CK and i could change her voice, behavior, etc. without problems but i can't change her hair, eyes and skin because everytime i try to access her appearance the game makes her face look old and ugly. I think this happens because i don't have the mods used by the autor to create her and i couldn't find anything like it on the "files" tab. I'm using the UNP version and i just want to change her hair, eyes and skin textures so can anyone help me?

Without getting into a big explanation as to why: You need to make your changes to the NIF in that folder using Nifskope and/or Nif Merge. You need to be able to copy and paste blocks, make sure they're children of the right things, type in the folder path of new textures, and that kind of stuff. It's really not all difficult, but it can be a little overwhelming for someone who's never used Nifskope before.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe Skyla (the author of that mod) has some tutorials about her process on her youtube channel.

Yeah i'm new in using nifskope but thanks for the reply. I'm giving a look at it and it seems complicated but i'll try to learn it.I'm thinking of downloading another npc mod and using the nifskope to replace Solis textures with the ones of some other random follower from the nexus, can i do that?

If you want to apply certain textures on a npc/follower, you are going to nee to create texture sets for the face hands and body/feet (feet textures are included with the body texture maps). And you'll have to give that follower/npc a unique body and apply those textures to that body and have that follower/npc use that specific body.
