Texture too light using Bijin Warmaidens with Weight based Women Workout

NPCs affected by Bijin Warmaidens have a lighter body texture, and doesn't match their head and hand textures which appear to be correctly coloured (see 1st attached NSFW image of Uthgerd).

 

I am using Bijin Warmaidens (UNP) with Weight based Women Workout textures. I have overwritten the body files from Bijin Warmaidens with my own body choice which is the same for all females in-game.

 

 

The folder of each NPC follower affected by Bijin Warmaidens, such as:

Skyrim Mod Organizer\mods\Bijin Warmaidens UUNP body override\meshes\actors\character\uthgerd

has a symbolic link to

Skyrim Mod Organizer\mods\Female Body UUNP BodySlide HDT - Meshes\meshes\actors\character\character assets

so all followers should be using exactly the same mesh files as any other female.

 

 

 

 

The only affected NPCs are those in Bijin Warmaidens, and disabling Weight-based Women Workout textures restores texture consistency to all the NPCs. The last 3 NSFW screenshots show Jenassa, Hulda, Uthgerd, Lydia in various lighting - Hulda has normal body and hand textures while the rest have distinctly lighter body textures compared to their heads, hands and feet.

 

I would like to have consistent body and head/hand/feet textures while using the weight-based textures. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance if anyone can help!

Changing the lighting will do absolutely nothing as it has nothing to do with lighting but it has everything to do with using incorrect textures for all body parts. Most texture sets all match when so you don't have mismatched body parts when you get hands head or feet mismatch it means you are using the wrong textures a mod overwrote them or you have a mod conflict.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but presumably textures are referenced in the mesh files, and I have set up all Bijin Warmaidens to be using the same body as the default female body, all NPCs should be using the same mesh files, so all NPCs should be using the same textures.

The weight-based texture mod should also affect all NPCs, which it seems to, but appears to affect the NPCs changed by Bijin Warmaidens differently even though they're using the same mesh files and hence texture files.

Character texture files have nothing to do with mesh, they are seperate files.

3 types of files ending with texture_msn.dds , texture_s.dds and just texture.dds.

The files that is making the muscule ends with _msn so keep that one as it is if you want that musculature.

The file you need to change is the one called femalebody_1. Its the one that is mismatched.

Open your warmaidens mod zip and copy the right femalebody_1 file from each character folder to the same character folder in your skyrim directory. Jannesa to Jannesa etc. If you still suffer a mismatch in certain lights do teh same with _s file. Look for them in data\texture\actor\character

I've overwritten the Bijin Warmaidens texture files and they all look normal now.
