Hopefully a simple fix, but while playing every 5 minutes the game crashes. Doesn't matter if I am in a cave, exploring, or my house.

I think Alternative start should be higher up the loadorder and the Dual Sheath redux patch should be just below Dual Sheath redux.

 

Also, do the crashes also happen on a new save or just your existing save?

And can you post a papyrus log?

No, Alternate start should always be low, same with the redux patch. Though Dual Sheath has been known to cause problems, so unless you really need it, maybe try taking it out.

Same with wet and cold, lot of scripts for something frostfall does itself.

 

What are you doing right before you crash? Is there any consistency to them?

That explains why it was so unstable for me.

 

Anyway, you have got alot of mods.

Also try uninstalling the mods you no longer use/need.

Wet and cold for a start, like I said. Frostfall already has wet and snow textures.

 

Otherwise look for mods you don't constantly use, texture mods that aren't always in view and don't feel necessary.

 

Also I'd take a look at Merge Plugins

Merge all your weapon and armor mods into one, random additions into another. Then maybe one for environment texture replacers.

I've read that UFO is outdated and can cause problems, but i've never used it myself and don't know for sure. If you don't already do, use ENBoost (you don't need an ENB vision for that) and SKSE memory patch.

I've read that also, EFF should be used instead.
