What's Causing This? Really Annoying?

Every second, there's a message on the top right of my screen going "blah and blah has gone out with blah and blah!" or "Blah and blah has raped blah and blah. I can never forgive him!". It never seems to stop, and it's starting to get on my nerves. Is there a way to stop this or at least slow it down? Thanks!

LoversEncounter.esp perhaps? Not 100% sure, but look for that file. Just a suggestion.

 

I deleted all my Tamago and Hiyoko related files a day or so ago. That mod collection is just WAY too high-maintainance.

I'm pretty sure that the mod that causes that is either new s or confide but ya either way its a tamago mod

Okay! Thanks. I fixed it. It was the LoverEncounter mod. At least for me, it was.

It's encounter reporting autonomous H happening amongst NPCs. It is worth keeping for immersion purposes if you use tomago. You can keep the mod and disable the reporting by editing the ini file and setting the gossip setting to zero.

you can always disable tamago news, that's the mod that gives you a teleprompter of every sexual relation on cyrodil... confide allows you to ask this perverted question "what's your current menstrual phase?", while encounter... i think that is used to get to have a soulmate "be my gb/bf y/n?" npc...and have sex with them if you talk with them about "love" or "sex"

THanks for asking, dragonzstrike! I was about to ask the same thing.

Especially in some sneaky and tense dark dungeon crawling situations, this can be really unnerving. There are some situations where it can be fun, though. If there only would be a switch that disables those messages when my char is sneaking.

ON a ssimilar note: How do I switch off those "dirty talk" messages when my char is having sex?

They are fun for quite a while, but sometimes they tend to disturb the show because they don´t fit what´s actually happening on the screen.
