Blender exporting mesh without UVs

Hey guys.

 

I'm trying to export some armor from Blender (that was originally imported into Blender and then modified) and am finding that the 'Num UV Sets' in the NiTriShapeData after export is showing 0 (meaning it also loses the UV data).

 

Meshes I create in Blender and then export have the correct value of 4097, so I'm definitely missing something. It has the UV data before being exported from Blender, so I'm not sure why it loses it on export.

 

If anyone has any ideas or needs more information let me know. Thanks!

 

 

EDIT: I found the solution. When objects are imported they lose their texture links, and a texture has to be reassigned in Blender and set to UV before exporting. Without doing this it will indirectly erase the UV data by assuming the object has no texture.
