Porting Oblivion models, easy Blender adjustment to Skyrim pose?

Is there some sort of simplified way of modifying an armour in the Oblivion pose (the T shaped with arms stretched out flat), to the Skyrim pose (with arms dropped down at the side?), I know there's an Oblivion skeleton/Skyrim pose, but the instructions for modifying it are for 3ds max, which I don't have.

Any help would be appreciated

Tried asking at the Nexus, but the mods locked my thread because I bumped it  Idiots.

might wanna check UNP Skeleton Resource from jclyde6108, in DL section get the OB Posable skeleton as conversion aid..

what i do

-combine skyrim head, hand, body, feet or an armor into one nif (yeah i know, it will hassle to do).

-import it to blender, clear the parent, delete the skeleton, join the mesh (if you need to).

-import your OB armor, clear parent and delete existed skeleton.

-import the new OB skeleton and reparent the OB armor to it.

-go to pose mode, and adjust the bones to make the armor close to skyrim body pose.

-for bone weight/weight painting, will depend on armor that you working on.
