Port: Armor set from Oblivion to Skyrim - "Makoto Outfit"

Hello Loverslab. Been a long time since I came here to check out the mods, and even longer since I played Skyrim last. My interest in the game came back recently since my main game (World of Warcraft) is now full of incomprehensible idiots! Likewise, I was playing a fun arcade fighter at an arcade recently, titled "Blazblue". Upon looking into it, the game had a character I immediately became interested in, both in looks and fighting style; Makoto Nanaya. Doing some quick searching, I noticed that there's a mod for her clothing, but only in Oblivion! So, I pose my request;

 

Could someone port the following armor set over to Skyrim, using the CBBE V3 slim body? *EDIT* Or, Dimonized UNP, I currently use this one and didn't notice til a minute after posting. Doesn't matter which one, up to you!

I wouldn't mind a retexture to make it fit with the updated graphics of Skyrim, but I won't ask that of anyone since I need practice with Graphic Design, and this would be an entertaining way to work on it.

 

 

PS; I did play Oblivion once upon a time, and I heavily modded it. I even used a lolita race (Lop Ear Elf), and I still enjoy playing the small female character for the humor of the lore-raping. If anyone could point me in the direction of a similar race that isn't a creepy normal looking child, that too would be nice! I did check the Loli thread, but it's a bit hard to navigate with all the posts. Can't quite tell what works or is in progress.

Thanks for the link, but I think I'll pass on playing as that. I do like Elin, but I don't really want to play as one lol. I'll most certainly use that to make a companion though.

jiitek's loli offers the loliest of loli's with his flat chest option.

 

Kashim's Loli:

Kashim's loli is made with CBBE offering a more... small adult feel ,since you can possibly have large breasts, rather than loli.

 

Then there is Kallel's Loli.. which is in the loli thread, I'll have to look for it.

Kallel's Loli is more of a pettanko look, or as he claims "teen" look.

Kallel's mod also comes with different head variants if it's too big, but again, I'll have to look for it.

 

Edit: Since most custom race mods are compatible with each other, you can get them all.

I personally recommend Kallel's and jiitek's.

I contacted the mod's author, mkstang. The following converstation took place:

One of your mods, the Makoto Nanaya armor, is one of my favorite armor sets for when I go punching things in Oblivion. My reason for bothering you is to ask if you had any plans to port any of your works, especially the one I pointed out, to Skyrim? If not, could I obtain permission for having it ported and uploaded via the nexus by someone who is willing to port it? I myself do not have the knowledge or skill with 3D modeling to do the porting, sadly.

The response I got was a shocking one;

So, as it stands, they seem to have no problem with this being ported and uploaded to the Nexus, given proper credit.

 

On another note, I attempted this myself using a guide for model porting, at the link provided at the bottom of the post. I was unsuccessful, and I can see how difficult it is to work with modeling. I had the opportunity to learn this kind of thing in college, but I scoffed it off thinking it wouldn't be worth it in my field (Graphic Design). I was able to get as far as "Adapt the armour's shape", but I got stumped there and gave up because I can't figure out how to work Blender. It's like having an elderly man attempt to comprehend Katamari Damacy; it just won't happen with me unless I go to college or something.

 

I am bumping with this, as well as a continued plea for someone who is knowledgeable in this kind of work.
