Hidden/Invisible neck gore

At some point, when decapitated the head stump/neck gore stopped appearing. Instead there is simply a large opening. 

 

If someone can help me identify the file location where I can look to find the mesh (not the texture) for the neck gore I would appreciate that. (I was having a similar problem in Skyrim about a year ago and I believe it was solved by deleting some file to do with racemenu. But there's no racemenu for Fallout 4 so I'm not sure where to look there)

 

Additionally if someone could help me find which types of mods work with the area around the neck gore (body texture or face texture or whatnot)
