howls Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Hey there! For months I've been studying videos, looking for forums that could guide me through or give me an idea of the process of editing NPCs. I'm talking body type (preferably CBBE in case there's a specific way for each body type) Eyes, hair, face, etc. I know a method that could(?) possibly work, and that's making a standalone follower and linking the textures, meshes, scripts etc. Truly I'm not entirely sure how to do that but I can guess the general way that would work. Tutorial I've been researching can be found here and also this one here Long story short I'm trying to make this follower look like this So to be a bit more in depth with what I know. I'm telling you guys what I know so you can correct me on anything I might be missing. I've seen people all over edit the look of followers, mainly a stream I watch by the name of Ning999. He's edited the faces and body types of followers such as Sofia, Adenz's Follower Marie Rose, and just a handful of them to be quick about it. I'd ask him for the step by step guide but his English isn't always easy to catch onto and I know it's a long list of things you probably gotta do. As for behind the process of this task I suppose it requires the use of Creation Kit and TESV Edit. Majority of the tuts I've come across on here always seem to lead to some old so called "broken" program on the nexus which doesn't seem to uphold exactly I'm looking for. I'm 90% positive the way I know is the way to roll. I just don't have that confirmation cause if you ask me, I'm still learning a lot about modding and LL is the home of questions like this. So input all the knowledge you guys have got about this cause myself and a lot of people here would love to know. In fact there's probably a guide already out for it, I just can't find it. Thanks to everyone in advance.
pringles89 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 here is another video for making standalone follower https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcHw4sqrrx8 once you have made the follower, use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64875/? to transfer the look from your standalone follower to the custom follower
