I gathered some NPC Overhauls. What order to install?

The mods for the following.

- JH Mods (NPC 85, Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Donyaakin) to replace Female NPCs and female Children.

- Dolls Children Overhaul to replace the male children

- GCE to replace the male NPCs

- Cute Serna: Valerica Edition to replace...well Valerica

- SBF to replace the remaining followers that weren't changed and Serana.

By replace I mean't their character customization, appearance to look different than the vanilla.

In what order must I install them to make it work. I honestly, haven't got a clue about how the priority of load order works.

Do you use Mod Organizer?

IF so: Experiment with install order. Different orders will give different results. Some might be clearly unstable and broken, while others give varied desirable results.

My best advice is to play around with it and see what works, using Mod Organizer.

That is, after all, how I came up with about 80% of my guide xD

Sadly, I don't use MO.

I'm one of those players that has gotten used to doing Manual Installs and a few NMMs.

MO looks complicated and might lead to certain issues with what I do.

Such as? You can merge and combine mods just like you do manually with MO.

Even to the extent of making a "mod" in MO an entire install, or large portion of an install.

ie: This check box is lighting, this one is weather, this one is bodies... so on and so forth.

Yes, there is a learning curve with MO: however, once you conquer that? you can actually do MORE than you could ever imagine doing manually.

Some mods, isn't exactly MO friendly and finding a solution generally breaks your face as its possibly complicated to fix.

For the most part, it does work but its just that I don't really exactly want to find a solution to MO incompatible mods as it could be far more complicated than a manual install problem.

Learning to use it isn't really my problem, just putting everything together and re-managing everything that I've done makes me somewhat lazy.

Also, I'm not sure how I should make it work with MO or what I'm supposed to be looking for. I've inserted the mods and my mind is completely blank.

Like what mods aren't MO friendly?

I use MO to test every mod that I HAVE tested for my guide. While some utilities such as FNIS or Bodyslide can be TRICKY to get working.

The only mods that aren't TRULY compatible with MO are things such as ENB and SweetFX. Things that get installed OUTSIDE of the Data directory.

MO is 100% compatible with anything that goes into the data directory. That's ... kind of the point of MO.

The above post being made...

I fully understand being lazy xD I've been trying to muster the drive to actually TYPE UP the newest iteration of my guide.
And on top of that, I'm planning on making videos for installing certain mods in the proper way... so yeah.

Lazy happens and is acceptable. :) <3

Welp, I am going to ignore my warnings and just install them in a random order.

Hopefully they work and wont break my save since they're all incompatible mods to each other. Just need to figure out what I'm supposed to look for in MO.

If you have conflicts, you will see a column in the left pane of MO that has a lightning bolt with either a plus sign, a minus sign, or both.

Double click on that mod, then the conflicts tab to see what files are overwriting what.

MO also has LOOT integrated, so in the right pane, you'll get warning signs telling you where .esp files are missing masters, or have conflicts.

It's pretty straight forward, you just gotta know what to look for.
