New to Wyre Bash and struggling

I recently switched to Wyre Bash from Nexus Mod Manager.  All the files I had with NMM transfered but when I attempt to add new mods I can't seem to figure it out.  I am wondering if I just don't understand the verbiage.  We what do they mean by "package" for example.  I assumed it meant the same as with NMM, meaning the win zip file but is it different.

Any help would be great.

Have you tried Mod Organizer? Wyre Bash is great for creating Bashed Patches, level lists etc. But, Mod Organizer is really the cleanest solution for mods, and it seems to be the most popular mod manager available.

Check out S.T.E.P ; everything to get started, patched etc, much of STEP can be ala carte. MO has a few week learning curve, but it revolutionizes modding. There is also tutorial on Wrye Bash at STEP.
