Sceadugengan Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Every now and then I get a CTD and find in the MO log lines involving the sound.bsa right before the windows exception happens. A quick google search reveals the existence of a bug where sounds can cause a CTD in Skyrim. Apparently switching the sound output device to 24bit solves the issue. Well, I'm using Logitech's G930 which only provides 16bit, so to fix my issue I was looking for a free software and found the DFX Audio Enhancer. All's working well and I get the desired result, but now I get annoying pop ups all the time, which also throw me back to my desktop while playing. One option would be to just buy the full version but I don't want to pay 40€ just to fix a CTD that happens occasionally... Do you know an audio enhancer which solves my issue? D:
