BenChang Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 What is the best way to make the atronach mesh (and its constituent parts) match the skeleton? http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l573/Vernancular/how_1.png I'm going to use SBP_32_body to create a 'full body' armor of sorts, I though beginning here would be pretty basic.. isn't as basic as I first expected. 1. Is there a way to select specific sections of multiple layers at once? For example, I am trying to select the arms of FireAtronach_Armor and FireAtronach_Armor01Glow to ensure that they both rotate by the same degree, and from the same point. 2. Is there a way to mirror transform on both arms (i.e about the y-axis, or x,0), to make the change more precise? I am intending on using this transform center alteration (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2015/ENU/3DSMax/files/GUID-3D3DB646-42A1-4B7D-9A32-9CCDD65DE357-htm.html) to move one arm. However, applying the adjust pivot twice (separately) on both arms separately probably won't produce precise symmetrical changes. How can I ensure there is more accurate symmetry in changes? I tried the mirror modifier but it mirrors geometry, not transformations. Thanks in advance.
