Either by Scottish kiss (head butt) or just a discreet hook to the jaw. Bystanders largely overlooked this as normal and went on about their business. No one went to jail and the environment went on as normal. What I propose is this.. A mod that gives the player the ability to knock out an NPC. If you can dummy the guy (recipient drunken state lasting a few minutes) being successful, life goes on with no consequences unless you fail and get carted off to jail for assault and battery or whatever if the disturbance was in town. Non-lethal conflict resolution. anyone up for it? Not me. knock any npc out below a given level. Their level determines how quick they get up and how easy they are to knock out. menu item with sliders or not. Oh.. no crime, no hostility, victim would use the drunk animation for a while after getting up and remembers nothing. great way to deal with npc's that piss you off.
