ZergistRush Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Hello, how can I tell which mod is making me CTD when I load into my save? It doesn't happen when opening Skyrim (I'm not missing any masters). Though when I try to load a save I sadly have a 65% chance of it making me CTD. Sometimes my saves will load, sometimes they just CTD. I have logging enabled with the code down below but nothing ever outputs to the log folder... In example of it crashing sometimes. I loaded it up successfully and played for five minutes, did something wrong (game play decision wise) so I decided to load back to the same save that I just previously loaded up successfully and it made me CTD. I launch Skyrim again and load it... It makes me CTD. After the third time trying, it works. I'm so confused to why it works only sometimes. webb71 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Start a new game, make a save. Then keep said save and then, from now on, load your current game from the save you just made. That's how I usually fix the issue.
ZergistRush Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 I'm trying out the "coc ctest" at main menu and then load. So far it's somewhat successful. Unfortunately though, when I'm loading the screen will freeze on whatever the loading screen was showing, I'll hear the audio of the world around where ever the save was, but it just stays on the loading screen.
ZoanChrome Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 If you had problem with ILS (Infinite loading screen), how about try these: 1. Safety Load 2. SKSE Memory patch (google it) or if the problem persist it just maybe you're not patient enough
