Is there something better than Blener 2.49b + NetImmerse scripts?

I downloaded this: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/42755/? and theoretically works... but before I can work with nif I have to mess up with nif in nifscope.

Like here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15690/? When I export new mesh from blender, I need to mess with nifscope again... manually set properties, copy mesh to oryginal nif, or copy properties to new nif... nasty work.. and not always gives positive result :(

Is there any fully automated script which import existing mesh directly? And then export as it should be for Skyrim?

I haven't looked into it for a while, but last I heard all the Blender plugins for Skyrim were pretty out of date. That's a big part of why I shifted towards 3DS Max. Aside from needing to replace the BSLightingShaders property, the Nif plugins have always worked great for me.

And when I do need to do something in Blender, I open it in 3DS Max and export it as an FBX that I open in Blender. And when I'm done, I'll export it into FBX again and load it in Max to export as a NIF. It's slightly annoying but it really only takes a second.

So you say for scripts for 3DS Max you don't need to edit nif in nisfscope (except removing BSLightingShaders properties) before import?

There are some updated nif scripts for the later blender... Somewhere..

BBlender 2.76 with the later nif scripts will import a Skyrim nif straight in, textures and all.

Ooook... I installed newest Blender (2.76b), then thanks to google I found a plugin which is still marked as DEV but works... at least instalation works... here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1eq92fafri46oui/blender_nif_plugin-2.6.0a0.dev4.zip?dl=0 (from this http://niftools.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6293)

I tried to import nif directly from Skyrim (without touching it) and... Blender stopped responding... so far no change... I'll wait some time to check if this is because import take so much time or it's just not working at all...

UPDATE: It works! (at least import) ;) Just poor coding of Blender :P They could throw script runs into separate threads and add progress bar or loader or anything...

Now I test what will happen if I export from blender to nif without changing antything and if will be still working...

UPDATE 2: So, export works, nif looks solid in nifscope... but... yeah there is always but... when I equip item in Skyrim, grame crash instantly... so, something is still not right... I compared oryginal nif with newly exported from Blender and ofcourse looks different (nodes IDs are different) but rest looks really good...

Anybody knows what can cause the issue? I use existing mod (Stiletto High Heel Shoes NIO BSA).

In attachments you will find the mod itself, and nif exported from Blender + some small edits (added NiExtraStringData for high heels) and I changed 0 NiNode Name to "Scene Root" (didn't help anyway, but I was trying...)

Oryginal nif can be extracted from mod bsa, and meshes have to be placed in ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\clothes\stilettos\ folder, shoesp_0.nif can be just copied as shoesp_1.nif

Just in case someone would like to take a look...

My limited experience with latest Blender and nif scripts has been that takes awhile for the nif too appear in blender, if i try to export same nif without doing anything to do it the export doesn't work...yes i used the Skyrim save. Not a 3d modeler just my limited experience with using latest Blender and Skyrim.

Ok, the question is if anyone got that working? And what to be done after export using Blender 2.76b and blender nif plugin v2.6.0a0 dev4
