Softcandle Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Hey, So I decided to mess around a bit with bodyslide, with the aim of converting the clothing mod Commonwealth Shorts CBBE to a Body of Alice preset. I sort of messed it up and gave up only to return and find that on the top-left of the bodyslide menu, the Outfit/Body I'd created was still there despite removing the clothing mod. I'm not quite sure how to remove it and start from scratch. I've tried searching in the data folder to find some kind of present I can remove but to no avail. Tried reinstalling the clothing Mod to see if It would appear in Bodyslide but it seems the preset I'd created overrides the mod itself. I even reinstalled BodySlide, but I can't seem to get rid of it. Anyone have any ideas?

Uninstalling Bodyslide won't help because you created the file yourself, it wasn't contained within their mod package.

The thing is, I created several bodies with various names. Those with custom names, I was able to find and delete in the aforementioned folder. But I'm kind of a moron, and I gave two outfit/bodies I'd modified in Outfit studio the same name as the clothing mod I was trying to alter. That's the one I can't get rid of.

Is Body of Alice not a preset for bodyslide? I'm honestly not familiar with it. If it is, you shouldn't need to do anything in OS, you just need to build the outfit in Bodyslide with your preset selected. But, you tried to manually change the outfit in OS and now you're trying to delete it, but it's hard to find because it's saved in the save sliderset as the original mod? Okay. So, you can actually save multiple outfits in the same SliderSet. When you open it in Outfit Studio, you get a little popup window asking which one you want to work on, and there's no difference in bodyslide. As far as I know, there's no way to delete an outfit from the sliderset from within BS/OS. You can open the sliderset in a text editor and delete the necessary entries, probably at the bottom. If you're not comfortable with that, I would uninstall the outfit, and with it uninstalled go into the SliderSets folder and delete the xml or osp files. And when there are no traces of it left, then reinstall the mod.

I managed to get things working by uninstalling all BodySlide related mods and cleaning up the remaining files in the Presets/Sets folder. Everything seems to be in working order now. Thanks for the help!
