Editing the female body texture in GIMP

Unlike in Skyrim, the texture files in Fallout 4 cannot easily be accessed and appear to be locked down.

 

How do I extract the female body texture and edit it using GIMP?

You can extract them using B.A.E. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/78/?

I don't know how to edit them in GIMP, I use PhotoShop with a DDS plugin, I suppose that exist a similar plugin to GIMP.

I figured out a way to do it, that exact same way I did in Skyrim.

 

But when I put a dress on my female character, all of the tattoos that I put onto her become distorted.

 

Here is a screenshot of my character (left) and the tattoos of the real-life person my character is based on (right).

 

But she has to be naked, or else her tattoos become badly distorted.
