ctd when talking to balgruuf and irileth

every time i try to talk to the jarl or irileth or even get near em i get an automatic ctd...... im at my wits end trying to figure it out..... if anybody can help ill be deeply grateful

It's quite probable it's a specific mod so your best bet is process of elimination, initially disabling likely culprits like recent additions or anything you think might alter vanilla quests or dialogues, and then sequentially from highest to lowest priority, you could disable in batches of 5, load your game to test, repeat. It might sound laborious but it really is the best method for these kinds of issues.
